  • Machined within one-thousandth of an inch 

  • Operated milling machines, lathes, and CNC machines

  • Full motor constructed and tested using pistons from six students 

  • Supervised and instructed students on operating the machinery as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

  • Designed mold in SOLIDWORKS and                generated C-code 

  • Part drafted, pinned, and vented accordingly in order to successfully mold the part

  • Monitored CNC machine and changed tools as the part was machined

  • Part then injection molded

Arduino Prototype

Goal
  • Design and build prototype of new product of your choice which utilizes an Arduino 

Background
  • Thought about what problems pet owners face and what could be created to help them

  • Chose to create a device which automatically sprays water on a cat if they jump on the counter

  • Utilized RFI pressure sensors, DC motor and pump, Arduino Uno, resistors, diodes, etc.
