SOLIDWORKS

August 2017 - December 2017

Goal
  • Create a universal test fixture to be used for optimization tests of a drug delivery device.

Background
  • Fixture must be usable for two different design iterations

  • Design adapted from a fixture used for similar testing on another project

My Responsibilities
  • Model entire fixture assembly

  • Create parts to be 3D-printed which allows the fixture to be adaptable for different design iterations

  • Work with supplier to order machined components

  • Work with engineer to 3D print components

  • Assemble and test completed fixture
